Planet Music Academy is pleased to announce 'Planet Voices' aimed at children and teenagers aged 9-16 and then our Adult Choir for all ages 16+. It will focus on contemporary repertoire including pop, folk, musicals, gospel and jazz. Singers of any standard are welcome.

Ben has been involved in choral music since the age of 11 as a member of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, and continued his interest by gaining a Choral Scholarship to King's College, Cambridge.

As a Choral Scholar he sang daily services and regularly performed in some of the most prestigious concert venues on the globe; including The Royal Albert Hall, The Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Concertgebouw, The Musée d'Orsay and The Washington National Cathedral. As a part of the world famous King's College Choir he sang on numerous recordings, and performed on the international radio broadcasts on Christmas Eve and Easter.

As a member of the close harmony group The King's Men he performed in many different functions around the world; including Seoul, Beijing, Dubrovnik, Downing Street, and once at Stephen Hawking's 70th Birthday Party. Whilst part of the group, he featured on the No.1 Classical iTunes album 'After Hours' and continues his passion for close harmony singing to this day, writing arrangements and singing with groups when he can.

For two years Ben was Senior Choral Scholar at Chelmsford Cathedral, helping the excellent Music Department with close harmony and solo work. Ben's passion for Choral singing continues to this day and he hopes to be able to get many more people up and singing along with him.
